SCCOCO CIRCLE

Help us build

something that lasts

SCCOCO exists to create ambitious, sustained and genuinely useful opportunities for artists.

Mentoring. Workshops. Residencies. Exhibitions. Professional development. Open Calls. Resources artists can return to throughout their careers.

We have begun building it. Now we want to build it much further. Friends of SCCOCO is the community helping make that possible.

Become a SCCOCO Circle member for only £29 per year

Our first 250 Founding Friends memberships are now available.

If you are an artist,

your membership includes:

4 SCCOCO Open Call submissions every year.

Those four submissions would normally cost:
£40 for Emerging Artists
£50 for Established Artists

So, at the £29 Founding Friend rate, the value of your Open Call entries alone
already exceeds the cost of membership.

And that is only the beginning.

Join while

we build

Friends of SCCOCO is launching while SCCOCO itself is still developing.

The membership you see today will grow alongside the organisation.
Over time, Friends will develop into a much broader online platform, giving members access to an expanding library of knowledge and resources created through SCCOCO — professional-practice guidance, artist development resources, talks, learning materials and opportunities generated through the programme.

The value of membership will grow as that platform grows.

That is why we want to recognise the people who support us at the beginning.

Join during the Founding Launch and:

  • your membership is £29 per year
  • that rate is protected for your first two years
  • artist members receive 4 Open Call submissions each year
  • you will receive Friends updates and early SCCOCO news
  • you will receive early access to selected opportunities and events
  • you will gain access to the growing Friends resource platform as it develops
  • you will remain recognised as a Founding Friend of SCCOCO

Why your support matters

SCCOCO has been built from the ground up.

Its first years have relied on significant personal investment, voluntary work and the support of artists, mentors and others who believe Scotland can do more to nurture its artistic talent.

For SCCOCO to grow sustainably, that has to change. We want to build an organisation capable of paying people fairly, supporting artists properly and continuing to create opportunities without depending on unpaid labour.
Friends of SCCOCO is one part of making that possible.
